How Soon Can I see You?
Generally we can get you an appointment on the same day you contact us, or at least during the next business day after you contact us. Early treatment means a speedier recovery.
Will I be treated during my first consultation?
Yes. After a very brief discussion your injury/pain, we will get straight into hands on treatment. We want to reduce your pain and resolve your injury as soon as possible.
How long does a treatment take?
Treatments last around 45 to 60 minutes.
Will I be given exercises?
Yes. Physios will design an individual treatment programme for each patient, usually consisting of various appropriate exercises that are to be performed between treatments. Before you leave the clinic, our physio will run through your exercise sheet to ensure that you know understand each exercise, highlighting how important these exercises are to optimise your recovery.
Do I need a GP referral?
No you don’t need a GP referral. However if you have one, you can bring us a copy of the referral letter along with the written report of any X-ray or MRI that related to your injury.
I have Private Medical Insurance – am I covered with you?
We are recognised by all the major insurance companies. Just check your own policy for its terms and conditions.
What about payment?
You must pay after each appointment. You will get a receipts at the end of each session which can be used for tax or health insurance companies
Do you know how many treatments I will need?
After your first assessment, your physio will be able to offer an estimate of the amount of appointments needed for your case. This may vary during the course of your treatment as our physio will assess your progress on each visit.
Will I be expected to do anything in between treatments?
Yes. But we cannot force you! We provide you with the right exercises to do between visits to ensure your recovery is optimized. We will supply custom made exercise sheets for you to bring home with you.
